This is my favorite Total War game and my favorite Warhammer game. Try it with a friend so you can share the feeling of 6 hours evaporating in what felt like no time at all.. TW:WHII at it its core is fun, beautiful, and fun to play. I would love everything about this game if it werent a complete cash-grab. This game on its own feels incomplete and unless you want to spend $200 you'll never get everything you want out of it. There is only one campaign mode, a mode that I really hate, and only a few factions unlocked. Everything else is hidden behind a DLC, or worse a COMPLETELY separate game and THEN MORE DLC. It doesn't make any sense. I feel like I got my $60 bucks out of this game, maybe, with 90 hours, but I would really love to play more. But I refuse to give Creative Assembly more money for content that's already in the game. I refuse to give them money for a key to simply unlock the door to more content, especially simple and old content. my $.02. Remember as a kid when you'd have a few toy figures and imagine battles between them going *pew pew* and smashing them together? My battles consisted mostly of: vikings vs. Romans & cowboys vs native indians.Ok now imagine a thousand vikings, cavalry and all, charging versus an imperial army with a thousand more. There's also wizards. Also steam tanks. Rocket launchers. Mammoths. Manticores.Now imagine there's like 8 more factions with their own crazy\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665and mash them all together. Giant golden scorpions. Pirate vampires. Phoenixes. Treants. Rat necromancers. I could go on and on. This game has it all.The game has its flaws, sure, but in the end it's epic fantasy battles and lots of cool stuff.If you're remotely into fantasy, and especially if you like anything Warhammer, you'll likely not be disappointed.Also my current play time is 92 hours and I can only say I really tried 2 factions.. I played until I got bored.. I've been stuck at home due to cancer, in constant pain 24 hours a day for the past 5 years. I can honestly say, it only became bearable when Total War Warhammer came out. Thanks to both this and the previous game, I've managed to put up with it. I am a huge Warhammer fan, and not only have the stuck to the lore wherever reasonable, they have filled out improved pieces that Games Workshop never really touched! (zombie pirates anyone?)The first game was amazing, and the improvements of this one shows the developers actually listens and implements some of the suggestions of the community. Not to mention the modding scene at the moment is incredible, as is the support for them from the developers. I have a couple thousand hours on this, and can't recommend it enough!. The best Total War to date. Fight me.. One of the best Strategy games out there. It can be a bit pricey but it has sales a lot and that is when you strike. Also Wood elves are cancer!
